 This is a simple paper flower tutorial. I made the flower I assembled into a bookmark. I also made a template to help you cut out your leaves and petals. Makes a great quick, inexpensive gift.

Step 1: gather supplies

* colored card stock for your flower
* popsicle stick
* E6000 glue
* scissors
* Flower Pattern from Panties and Patches

Cut Out and Assemble

Step 2: Cut out all the pieces from the template from your card stock and start assembling the pieces on the popsicle stick.

Fold and crinkle the petals to make them look more realistic (or don't have have a 2D flower) .

Add a dab of glue to the back of the bent tail of the petals and layer them on the stick.

Make sure for the next two layers of petals that you off set them from the previous layer, to add realism and imperfection.

Add the Center

 Step 3:  Curl the center strip and glue it together.

Hold for a moment until the glue sets.

Glue the curl to the center.

Add the Leaves

 Step 4: Crinkle and bend the leaves for realism.

Add a dab of glue to the tails of the leaves and slide them underneath the flower in between the outer layer of petals and the popsicle stick.
