Printing the Template
I started off by designing the template in Canva. Using yellow squares, rectangles, and a lot of patience, I was able to create the template for this awesome robot. I then sent it to a color printer to print. I then printed the template on a regular sheet of paper. To print the template, just download and print the file below.

Cutting Out the Pieces
Carefully cut out each piece of the project. Lay them out neatly as shown above so that all of the pieces are easy to find.
The Head
To create the head, Fold along all of the white lines. Make sure that the yellow side of the paper is facing outwards. Next, securely tape all of the edges to create a cube like shape. I put the tape on the inside so that it would not be visible once the robot was completed.
The Body
Once again, fold along the white lines, making sure the yellow side is visible on the outside. Put the tape on the inside so that it will not be visible.
The Arms
To create the arms, fold along the white lines, making sure the yellow side is facing outwards, to create a tube like shape. Then wrap the tape around the outside to get the result shown above.
The Legs
For the legs, fold along the white lines to make them into into elongated cube like shapes, and then tape them securely. They will be holding the entire weight of the robot, so make sure they are sturdy by adding a little extra tape on the inside.
The Base
For the base, fold along the white lines, making sure that the yellow side is facing outwards. Then, tape the edges together to make a cube like shape. Make sure that the bottom of the stand is completely flat.
Assembling All of the Pieces
With tape, assemble all 7 of the pieces you have made so far to create the final product: A Paper Instructables Robot!
Pro Tip:
Make sure to have the Instructables logo right side up, and on the front of the paper model.
Repeat!
You can never make enough of these cute little buddies, so create more of them! Share them with your friends, or create your own collection of these paper robots. Have fun!
