Paper Kitty Puppet
☆ These puppets are fun to make and to play with! My toddler and I enjoyed creating this project! ☆
Supplies
• white paper bag = 9.5 x 5 inches ( for the body, or any small paper bag, any color).
• graphic compass ( to help draw the eyes).
• 1 ruler
• glue stick ( to glue the eyes and ears on the body).
• 1 sheet of white paper = 7 x 5 inches ( for the eyes and ears).
• 3 or more non- toxic markers, different colors (any colors you choose).
• a heavy box to set on the puppet ( after gluing to help the glued parts stick ( eyes and ears)).
Cut them out with scissors.
Roughly draw triangles on the white sheet of paper or you can use the ruler to help draw the triangles. And cut them out with scissors
With the glue stick, place glue on the back of the eyes and glue them on to the bottom area of the bag, above where you had drawn the nose and whiskers.
Then with the glue stick, place take the ears and on the front of the ears at the bottom place glue.
Then stick the ears at the top of the bag behind where the puppet head is located.
Place a heavy box or book on top of the puppet to help the glued parts adhere to the bag. Wait at least 10 minutes before removing the box and enjoy playing with your creation!
