The Strip
The strip of paper should be about one centimeter thick and at least 20 centimeters long. This can be cut or taken from the previously mentioned document shredder.
First, tie the strip in a knot crossing the front piece and tucking it as well. Tie the knot tight but be careful to not break the paper. The knot should have an extremely short piece on one side and an extremely long piece on the other.
Break off the short piece. Fold the long piece across the pentagon until a small piece that can't fit across the pentagon remains.
Tuck the small piece remaining into the most obvious fold of the pentagon.
Using the index and thumb of one hand and the index, middle, and thumb of the other, press into the star from the sides. Put each finger into a side of the pentagon and press so there are 5 indents.
Enjoy your star! This star can be done on any malleable material with similar dimensions.
