Pasta a La Fantasia

This dish came forward, when I wanted to make spaghetti for dinner, but only had macaroni. So I thought of making a spaghetti-like pasta dish

Supplies

2 boxes of Pasta noodles (I used macaroni for this), Canned pasta sauce, Cheese, Salt, Pepper, Water, 1 Carrot, Italian seasoning, Garlic powder

Things you need: Spaghetti strainer, Pot (with lid), a Mixing spoon

Boil the Water

Fill the pot with water about half of the way and then heat on the stove. Wait for it to start bubbling.

Dump the Pasta In

When the water starts bubbling, throw in a pinch of salt and dump the pasta in. Stir the pasta until it is cooked. If you are making pasta for yourself only, only use half of a packet. If you are making it for your family, and you need leftovers, (like I am doing), use 1 and a half packets.

Drain the Pasta

When the pasta has finished cooking, pour the contents from the pot, into the spaghetti strainer. Do this in the sink so that the hot water will go directly to the drain. Take the pasta which is in the spaghetti strainer and set it on a kitchen cloth on a countertop, and wait for it to cool.

Make the Sauce

You already have the tomato sauce, but why not spice things up a bit? Pun intended. Before you do anything with the tomato sauce, take the carrot and wash and peel it. Then cut it into slices, and then cut those slices into quarters. Then after you finish this, leave the carrots alone and grab the pot. Put the pot on the stove and turn on the stove. Pour 3 quarters of the sauce from the bottle into the pot. Then add the carrots, a tablespoon of Garlic powder, a tablespoon of Italian seasoning, a teaspoon of pepper, a pinch of cheese, and then a teaspoon of salt.

Mix It Up

When the sauce starts to bubble, turn off the stove. Then go and grab the pasta and pour it into the pot. Mix the sauce with the pasta, until it is thoroughly mixed.

Eat It Up

Enjoy this wonderful dish, and eat it up with a smile. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. Add another pinch of cheese if you really want it to be good.
