Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Biting into these delicious, soft cookies is like biting into heaven! They are the perfect combination of a fluffy and crisp cookie with a dash of sweet chocolate in the center. These cookies are dusted in a light sugar and baked to excellency. This easy to bake recipe is sure to impress your friends and family.

Ingredients

3/4 cups Peanut Butter

1/2 cup Shortening

1/3 cup of White Sugar

1/3 cup Brown Sugar

2 Tablespoons Milk

1 Egg

1 teaspoon Vanilla

1-1/2 Cup Flour

1 teaspoon Baking Soda

1/2 teaspoon Salt

2 extra Tablespoons of White Sugar

1 (12 oz) Bag Of Hersey's Chocolate Kisses Unwrapped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

This recipe makes two dozen.

Adding Ingredients

Combine your peanut butter, shortening, white sugar, and brown sugar all together in one bowl.

Combining

In a seperate smaller bowl, combine your eggs, milk and vanilla. Then add those ingredients into the dry ingredients bowl and beat with an electric mixer until smooth.

Adding and Stirring

Next take a sifter and sift in flour, baking soda and salt into the bowl with the other ingredients. Then fold the flour into the rest of your dough until dissolved.

**note**your dough will seem dry

Chilling

Next cover your bowl in plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator. The minimum cooling time for your dough is 1 hour, but our dough was in the fridge over night.

Rolling Them Out

Divide your dough into 24 balls and place on two cookie sheets. Then take your 2 Tablespoons of sugar and put it in a bowl. Then gently roll each ball to be coated in sugar and replace gently on the cookie sheet.

Baking

Put your cookie sheet in the oven heated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Cook for 6 minutes one way. Then turn the cookie sheet around and cook for another 4 minutes or until cooked to your preferred consistency.

Adding a Kiss

Then, as soon as your remove the cookies with a pot holder, pick up a Hersey kiss and put it directly in the center of your cookie to create your final product.

Cool and Enjoy

Using a spatula, lift up each cookie and put on a cooling rack for at least a half an hour to let your Hersey kisses cool. Then enjoy!!'
