Dip each pickle in the fish fry. Then hold it in the buttermilk for no more then two seconds, then dip it once more in the fish fry. Make sure it is good and covered. Shake of any excess coating, and set on a plate for five minutes. This will keep the coating from coming off when being fryed.

Frying the Pickles

Once the pickles have sat for five minutes, transfer them to the vegetable oil and fry for One to one and a half minutes. Remove when they start to turn darker. Let cool on a plate for about five minutes before serving. Goes great with ranch!
