Pier 9 Resource: Accessing Custom Post Processors on a Mac in Fusion 360

This Instructable is for Workshop Users at Pier 9. However, it's relevant to anyone who:

1. Uses Fusion 360 on a Mac

2. Has a custom post processor

When Mac users post process their CAM files to turn them into G-code, by default Fusion 360 only shows Generic Posts. This Instructable will show you where to put your custom post processors so you can access them.

1. Go to A360.

2. Right click your image in the top right corner--your profile--and click Settings.

3. Enable access to the A360 drive with the slider bar.

1. Click the dropdown next to A360 at the top of the screen, and select A360 drive. It may take a few moments to load.

2. Click "New Folder" in the upper right corner and create a folder called CAMPosts.

1. Double click the new folder and click Upload in the top right corner.

2. Select your CPS file and click Open.

1. Restart Fusion 360.

2. Go to your profile by clicking your name in one of the upper corners. In the dropdown, select Preferences.

3. Under General on the left hand side, click CAM.

4. Select the box next to "Enable Cloud Libraries" to allow access to your A360 post processors.

1. Right click Setup 1 and select Post process.

2. Set the Source to My Cloud Posts.

3. Your post processor should appear in the dropdown next to Post processor.

4. Add a program number and comment, and hit OK to generate your G-code!
