Painting on silk is a fascinating way to turn your concepts into realities. The interesting part about painting on fabric is that your concept always ends up looking even better than you expected. It takes patience to set up the silk and draw your design, but when you start painting the dyes challenge your artististic abilities.

STEPS^:
1. Set up the silk to the frame (very tight)
2. Start drawing your design with the resistant (Known as Gutta)- let it dry for about 10 min
3. Mix the colors you want to use (with Tinfix dyes - just few drops mixed with water)
4. Start painting
Note¨: Have a jar with water by your side at all times and paint on the silk bit faster than you will do on regular paper (its like watercolor or photographic technique)
