This Instructable will show you how to make a neat little hacky sack! These can be so much fun if you know how to use them right.

Gather the Fabric

Find 2 pieces of fabric that you would like to use. I chose green and red.

Make a Circle

Draw a circle on one of the pieces of fabric using a soda can or something bigger that is circular. Now put the fabric with the circle on it on top of the other piece of fabric and pin them together to prevent them from moving.

Cut a Square

Don't cut on the circle, cut a square around the circle. It will be easier to sew instead of struggling to hold a little circle when you are sewing.

Sewing

Now it's time for the sewing! Just try to sew on the outline of the circle. When you are sewing, leave about 1 inch of space between where you began sewing and where you ended so that there will be a slot after you cut the circle out.

Cut and Flip Inside-Out

Now cut the circle out. But don't cut on the line, cut around the line, and leave about 1 cm of space between the line and the cuts. For best results, use an Xacto knife. After you have done that, find the opening in the circle and flip it inside-out.

Fill It

Fill the circle with something small such as rice, beans, or dried peas. A funnel will help a lot.

Sew It Up

Now you need to know how to sew with a needle and thread. So just sew up the opening, but first tuck it in so that it looks like the rest of the circle. You are now done. So kick it around, play a game, have fun with your new hacky sack.
