Pocket Portable Flashlight V1
So basically this is a flashlight that is 2.5 inches big so it can almost anywhere in your pocket in your wallet and many more places. This hole project will be done using autodesk fusion 360 cad software this could be done in other software but fusion is just amazingš¤©. Files at the bottom.
Supplies
- 5mm led
- cr2025 3v cell battery
- tape (optional)
Model
This is the finished model in fusion 360.
Cad Software
i will design this using autodesk fusion 360.
Sketch
- Create a top view sketch.
- Make a rectangle 55mm x 24.11.
- Finish the sketch.
Extrude
- Select the sketch face.
- Hit e on your keyboard for extrude.
- Extrude it 3.65mm in height operation is new body.
Create Borders
- Hide the bodies and sketch out a line 20mm wide (look at pic).
- Then 55mm line down.
- Then 2mm thick walls us line tool.
Extrude
- Extrude it 4.50mm with your bodies visible make sure the operation is new body.
Moving
- Move it up 2.355mm notice i have the 3v cell in pic.
Sketch
- Make a little rectangle in the end in the middle 5.75 x 145mm move it to get it in the middle and at the top.
Extrude
- Select the sketch and extrude it down -2mm.
Fillet and Chamfer
So i just added 1mm fillet to the edges and 3mm fillet to the sliding part thingi.
I chamfered inside of where the led is going.
Printing
- no supports
- no raft
- 20% infill
Adding Hardware
you put the led in the slot and glue it then if you don't want to get poked then rap tape on the led part.
Activate
simply slide the cell forward until it makes contact with led then it will light up.
