Polygonal Necklace
If you like DIY jewelry, you know that these metallic tubes are basic. But just because they are simple it doesn't mean that you should always use them the same boring way.
In this instructable I'm going to show you how to make stylish polygonal charms with the traditional jewelry making supplies.
This technique I'm going to teach you, has unlimited possibilities. You can make so many different shapes: stars, spheres, hearts, pyramids, symmetrical or asymmetrical. Make it as simple or complicated as you want.
Gather Your Materials
Metallic tubes
Thin wire
Pliers
A necklace or chain
Make a Triangle
Cut a long piece of wire. String three tubes.
Form a triangle and twist the wire.
Make a Pyramid
String two more tubes. Make them form a triangle with one of the tubes from the last step.
Continue making triangles until you have a pyramid.
Join the Pieces
Make two pyramids.
For the middle I made a different shape. It's a square based pyramid. You can go through the same tube more than once until you have the shape you want.
Attach It to a Necklace.
Finally, gather al the wires in one spot and twist them, trim them and forma loop.
The charm is ready, just attach it to a necklace.
Enjoy your new necklace, you can make many different shapes with this technique, have fun making different shapes.
