Welcome!

Here, you will learn how to arrange ping pong balls to represent the projection of a moving object (like a ping pong ball)

Here's what you'll need:

  • An ample amount of string (enough to cut a number of strings equivalent to the number ping pong balls)

When preparing your PVC pipe, be sure to measure the total length. After doing so, divide the length by the number of intervals you plan on applying. This number will tell you that must separate each tennis ball.

Measure out the length of string necessary to create the motion pattern you're looking for. Make sure tat each string is longer than the previous one by an increasing amount, giving you a consistent curve.

Lay It Out

Hold up or spread out your diagram to make sure it looks both neat and accurate. Make any last minute adjustments, and hang it up. You got yourself a ping pong prize deserving of any winner.
