Pumpkin Lantern
Encouraged by my child's desire to decorate the space with autumn motives, I made a luminous pumpkin that will also be a decoration on this year's Christmas tree. The pumpkin can be made in several colors.
Supplies
For this project I used:
- 3D Printer Kingroon Kp3s pro ( https://kingroon.com/products/official-kingroon-kp3s-pro-3d-printer )
- Filaments Sunlu PLA+: Green and Orange (https://www.amazon.nl/SUNLU-Filament-Printer-Tolerance-Accuracy/dp/B07XFD75SP?th=1 ), Kingroon: White
- Button Battery DL2032 3V
- Resistor 25mA 51Ω
- LED Yellow (I plane to make Pumpkins with Red and Green LED)
The first step was modeling in a 3D program (Blender). Each part is modeled separately (Gourd, lid, candle and stalk).
After that, I cut parts of the 3D model in Cura slicer and made G-code, then printed the aforementioned parts.
Soldered the resistor with the LE diode and mounted this electronic part on the cover (battery holder).
The pumpkin is assembled with a stalk and a lid, this ornament is intended for decorating shelves, and because of the specially rounded stalk, will be used as a decoration for the Christmas tree.
