This is a super-simple craft for all ages (parent supervision recommended for young children) that leaves you with a quaint little pumpkin decoration!

You will need:

-12 inches (30 cm) of 3/8"(1cm) width ribbon

-1 push-pin

-1 pair of scissors (not pictured)

-(optional) craft paste/hot glue/etc. and a small pebble

Feel free to get creative with the colors and sizes of your ribbon! You can also use wired ribbon to make a larger pumpkin that can you can shape!

Finishing

Arrange the ribbon so they are evenly spread. You're done!

You may want to put a dab of glue between the bottoms of each ribbon to hold it in place, which will also help add weight to keep small pumpkins balanced. You can also glue a small pebble on the bottom or inside the pumpkin to keep it from being top-heavy.

Safety tip: To avoid accidental pricks from the push-pin, you can us a hot-glue gun and put a dab of glue on the pin's tip to shield from the sharp edge.

Next time, try making a pumpkin decoration with more than three loops, or with larger and wider ribbon!
