Quarter Bracelet

I like to wear money. Literally.

But it is really easy to make jewelry out of coins as long as you have the right tools and materials!

So here is an instructable for one of my favorite money-jewelry projects: the quarter bracelet.

I had 3 quarters that I thought would look good on a bracelet. I decided on the bicentennial one, #2. You might want to make one depending on what state you live in, or whatever (if you don't live in the US, just use your native currency).

My dad lent me a hole punch that basically punches any material that will fit within its evil (but useful) jaws. So it did the coins, no problem. (I used it in my penny earring instrucable, here's a picture)

If you don't have a super-useful punch, you can drill the holes or do a bit of research on the internet, I'm sure.

This bracelet is a tie-on one, so I'm just using cord. To cut the right length, wrap it once around your wrist and add about two inches. Cut that length and then another of the same size.

Fold the cord in half and push the U-shaped end through one of the quarter's holes. Slide the two end strings through what comes out and pull tight.

Repeat this for the other side.

Tie the ends of both strings into a knot and trim them if they aren't the same length.
