Mario games I believe everyone should have played, that is really full of childhood memories. Especially the unique game sound. Today, we bring the elements of Mario back to reality, combined with classic action sound, as if back to that carefree childhood!

Appearance Design

The question mark lights are shaped from the classic mario games, where players can manipulate game characters to interact with them, get rewards or enter hidden levels. The bricks in the game are flat, so we designed a depression pattern on all four sides of the square.

At the top, a striped opening is designed to allow the sound of the built-in speaker to come out. In addition, the upper part of the question mark lamp also has a hanging hole, can be easily hung on the bag

Hardware Design

The hardware part contains the main circuit board, speaker, vibration sensor, etc., is the technical core of the question mark lamp.

Vibration sensor for detecting the knocking and tapping of question lights

Master circuit board, control LED light flashing and play preset sound after receiving signal from the vibration sensor

Speaker for playing sound effects

Structure and Assembly

First, I need to put the speaker at the bottom near the opening and away from the circuit board to avoid blocking LED lights. So I designed a structure that "hangs" the speakers, while helping to secure the fastening speakers and prevent hoarse sound.

This is followed by the installation of the main circuit board and the vibration sensor. Once the circuit is welded, the vibration sensor, battery and master circuit board are placed in order.

Finally, the wiring on the loudspeaker is welded, the base is mounted to the main body, and the assembly process of the question mark lamp is completed.
