To make the wedges, cut the orange strips in half. Use the quilling tool to make a coil, and then let it loosen up until it's about 1/2 inch in diameter. Glue down the end, and then press the coil into a teardrop shape. Repeat with the other strips of orange paper.

Adding the White & Gluing

Glue around the entire teardrop shape. Take the white paper and, starting at the tip of the shape, wrap it around three to four times. Glue down then end, and cut the excess white paper off to use for the other teardrop shapes. Repeat for the rest of the orange wedges. After this is done, glue the wedges together to form the shape of the slice.

Glue two strips of white paper together. Put a dab of glue on the outside curve of the orange wedges, and start to wrap the white strips around the wedges. Glue down the end. Repeat this process with a strip or two of orange paper for the rind.

There you go! You successfully completed this project! Enjoy!
