In our increasingly interconnected world, we often encounter scenarios where off-the-shelf solutions simply don’t cut it. Imagine crafting a device to effortlessly control the lighting in your home, tailored precisely to your preferences. Supplies
This process is not only time-consuming and but also requires a high level of expertise and technical skills, posing significant challenges for most non-professionals. Even seasoned developers can become frustrated and overwhelmed by repetitive tasks. Moreover, there is often a significant overlap in technical requirements and solutions, leading to redundant efforts as many individuals invest time and resources in solving similar problems.
For the aforementioned reasons, we conceived RIMU to assist developers and makers in efficiently realizing their creative visions. RIMU offers integrated, user-friendly solutions that save users time and effort in hardware design, software development, and manufacturing. Our mission is to empower innovators by providing a supportive integration platform that allows them to focus on their strengths.
Hardware
Rimu is a versatile device equipped with a powerful ESP32 chip, boasting 384 KB ROM, 512 KB SRAM, 16 KB RTCSRAM, and 16 MB PSRAM,8 gigabytes of storage. Its 4.3-inch TFT touchscreen display offers a vibrant 480 x 800 pixel resolution, supporting 262K colors, and is driven by either an ILI9806 or HX8369 display controller.
Dimensions Information
Rimu Equipped with a 4.3-inch LCD screen, it’s capable of displaying rich information and images. Supporting Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPIO pins, offers excellent expandability. Enabling seamless integration with various sensors, actuators, and other peripherals.The overall dimensions of Rimu are 118 cm by 73 cm, making it relatively compact compared to similar products. The 4.3-inch screen is a common size that provides a good viewing experience. With a resolution of 880 x 480 pixels, the display is clear and detailed. The screen dimensions of Rimu are 93.6 cm x 56.2 cm, and the thickness is 15.9 cm offering a moderate thickness for easy portability.
Magnetic Suction Structure
Rimu adopts an innovative magnetic connection method, eliminating the need for traditional screw fastening. With a simple snap, the host and module can be quickly connected. The gold-plated pogo pins ensure maximum service life, allowing anyone to easily operate the device without any barriers.
External Antenna Structure
Our device offers unparalleled flexibility for diverse environments. Whether you need to enclose it in a metal case or place it far from a wireless access point, we’ve got you covered. A dedicated external antenna interface ensures optimal signal reception, even in challenging conditions. By improving signal quality and expanding coverage, you can enjoy a more reliable connection. When it not nedd, the interface doubles as a lanyard attachment point for easy portability
Tripod Structure
The Rimu host is equipped with two thoughtfully designed screw holes. One is compatible with standard tripod screw holes, allowing it to be securely mounted on a tripod, enhancing its versatility. The other screw hole can be used to attach small accessories, expanding its application scenarios. Placed on a tripod, Rimu is like having an extra pair of flexible “legs”, making it more adaptable and capable of handling more complex tasks. The stable support provided by the tripod significantly improves Rimu’s working accuracy and operational convenience, making it ideal for industrial automation, scientific research, and education and training.
DIN35 Structure
The DIN35 rail is a standardized profile that is integral to industrial control, automation, and electrical systems.In electrical control cabinets and distribution boards, the DIN35 rail provides a universal platform for mounting and securing a variety of electrical devices.Rimu’s DIN35 expansion capability means Rimu can easily connect with electrical devices equipped with DIN35 rails, such as sensors, distribution boxes, etc.
