Radiographic Lamp

I like re-using and re-cycling. My lamp broke up so i tried to make another one that fits better my bad taste.

I'm lazy and italian so i don't know the name of every part of the material needed.

Just few word about the transparent plate. Obviously it's not glass, it's plastic.

TOOL:

- cutting tool some thing rough cause plastic it's tough

- ruler, pencil for project lines

- something to make hole in the plastic easily (I used that tool to make holes on belt, don't know the name)

- screwdriver and boltdriver

Make 4 lateral pieces of the desired dimension and 2 pieces for the base.

Track the line, cut it and make the hole in every corner.
TRY TO MAKE THE HOLES THE MOST PRECISE AS POSSIBILE! They must be at the SAME DISTANCES FROM EVERY CORNER! Not surgical precision, but the best you will achieve the easiet will be put the piece together. That was my first attempt, I was not so precise so I had some problem.

After that try to mount evey pieces using the corner joint.

Use the 2 base's pieces to mount the lamp. Each lamp has a different design so try the best solution you can.

As you can see in the photos, my base lie on the metal corner pieces (don't know the precise name) and the wire do not pass through the plastic but through the pieces: it's not elegant but it works...

I found some very old photographic plate, now useless. Look amazing to my eyes!

The job is very easy... cut 4 pieces with same width of lateral pieces, make the holes in the same position and mount on it using the same screw. The haight it's not important, it just must be eqaul or longer than the plastic pieces.

I made a little mistake: I cut the plastic pieces too short and the lamp was still visibile... I solved the problem using the cover with the right dimension.

Just refining work. Try that everything work.

The original lamp is in the right of the last photo (I notice now, while doing the instructables, just a case, not wanted for a comparison :v)
