Radish Leaves Subzi

Radish leaves have more of Iron, Calcium, Vitamin C, phosphorous than the radish itself.

The leaves of radish are diuretic, antiscorbutic and have a laxative effect.

But, Most of the time people end up wasting those leaves. Here’s the entire dish that you can make out of it.

Ingredients :

  • Raddish leaves chopped in long length
  • Small Onion (100 gm) - chopped
  • Finely chopped/grated Ginger-20 gm
  • Finely chopped/grated Garlic-10 gm
  • Spices : Jeera, Garam masala, Tumeric powder

Utensils:

  • Non-Stick Pan
  • Bowl for serving

Preheat the Pan

Preheat the non-stick fry pan and add 1 tbsp. of oil.

Add the diced onions, garlic and ginger and roast them till the onion turn golden brown.

Preparing the Masala

Add ½ tsp jeera (Cumin Seeds).Sprinkle small amount of garam masala, chili powder and Turmeric Powder as well.

Add two tbsp. tomato puree. I have added a frozen tomato puree cube. To know how to make it, refer to my other instructable.

Proper Mixing and Cooking

Keep mixing the ingredients as you cook for 2-3 mins with the cooking spoon.

Now add radish leaves and peas to the pan and cook for next 3-4 mins.

The radish leaves subzi is ready. Serve it with chapatti or rice.
