Rainbow Loom Ladder Tutorial

What you will need:

1 loom board

A crochet hook / loom hook

Looms Bands

1 S or C Clip

Firstly, make sure your loom is facing the right way. The arrows should be pointing outwards.

Start making your border by staring from the first central pin and then to the other side.

Start to go upwards until you have reached the top.

Once you have reached the top, instead of going upwards, close it off by placing the bands into the central pin.

Once you have finished off the border, start making the steps.

Start on the second right and left pins and finish on the second last right and left pins.

The colour of the step should be the colour the top band is.

Start filling in using any colour. I chose black.

To fill in the loom, make a line from the first central pin to the last central pin using the colour you chose.

Turn your loom upside down so the arrows are facing towards you.

Create a cap band by making an eight with a band then creating a circle. Place the cap band onto the first central pin that is towards you.

Get the black (or what colour you used for the filling) and loom that to the loom in front. repeat until the end of the loom.

Repeat step 2 by adding another ladder line on top of the ladder steps you have already created.

How to loom the sides:

Firstly, take a a band underneath the cap band on the central pin and place it back to it's original pin. Repeat this for the second band.

On the left side, start on the bottom.

Take the bottom band and place it to the pin in front of the pin. repeat this until the end.

Do this again for the right side.

To close it off, take the last bands and place it on the last central pin.

To pull it off, take a band that is the same colour that you used for the filling.

Stick your hook through the last central pin and pull that colour through but not entirely.

Hook the other side of the band onto the shook.

Gently pull off your bracelet of your loom board.

Too pull it off, gently pull your hook upwards to remove the bracelet from the board.

Firstly, use your s or c clip through the 2 bands that were on your hook.

To make an extension, just you a single loom rod.

Make sure your rod is facing away from you.

Make an extension by just placing the band you used to fill in your ladder. Stop when you have the right amount.

I have a small/medium wrist so i had to add 6 bands.

Place the end of your ladder bracelet to the last pin you used.

Turn the loom around and start looming.

Pull it off and add it to the S or C Clip.
