Raspberry Pi VS Orange Pi Lite Vs Up Board | Which One Is the Best ?
Over the past one year I have collected three different single board computers.
1) Rasbperry Pi
2) Up board
3) Orange pi Lite
But the question arises which one is the best? so lets compare them according to their price segment, performance, connectivity and some of the other factors so
Lets get started !
This post is not paid Promotion or endorsement for any Board this is just my personal opinion on all three board which I have used in past one year.

Performance
Speaking about the performance Raspberry pi is powered by A53 processor while UP board is powered by Intel X5-Z8350 processor which is a quad core clocked at 1.92 GHz and the orange pi lite is powered by A7 processor both clocked at 1.2 GHz.
MERMORYs
Major factor that cannot be ignored is memory, and the clear winner is UP board offering 4GB of DDR3 memory with flash storage while orange pi lite offers 512MB of DDR3 memory and the Raspberry pi uses 1GB of DDR2 memory which is significantly slower then other two boards and both of them require SD card to operate while up board has emmc.
MISCELLANEOUS
All three boards have HDMI ports, USB 2.0 ports, 40 GPIO pins, CSI and require 5V to operate. While only UP board supports the USB 3.0 and microUSB, Orange pi lite has onboard microphone and IR receiver and yes Raspberry pi decided not to ditch headphone jack and DSI which UP also offers.Raspberry pi offers you Ethernet port and WiFi connection both while UP board only offers Ethernet port and Orange pi only offers WiFi.
Conclusion
To sumup everything what I said definitely UP board is the winner but availability of this board is not that easy and price segment can also be a bit lower but if you don't want to spend $89 a good alternative will be Orange pi lite but you don't get Ethernet port and speaking about Raspberry pi it is bit outdated and I think they should release a new version pretty soon.
