Learn how to make a gorgeous and useful resin bookmark with just a few materials!

Supplies

Resin and Hardener Photo.JPG
  • Epoxy Resin
  • Epoxy Resin Hardener
  • Popsicle Stick
  • Red Dried Flowers (do it yourself or find some online for the resin)
  • Bookmark Tassel
  • Resin Bookmark Mold
  • Measurement Cup with mL
  • Rose Gold Foil (make sure its for crafts)
  • Gloves (so the resin doesn't stick to your skin; it will stick for a very long time)

Starting the Resin

Measurement Cup Photo.JPG

First, pour water into your mold and measure how much fits in mL. Then, divide that by 2. Let's say you got 10 mL. Then, pour 10 mL of epoxy resin into the cup. After, pour 10 mL of resin hardener into the cup. Stir thoroughly.

Pouring Resin and Adding Flowers

Pour half of what you mixed into the mold. Then, add in your flowers and foil however you'd like. Then, pour in the rest of the mixture after. (Here's a tip for resin: When pouring, pour close to the mold to avoid bubbles.) Let dry for 10 hours or more.

Finishing Up

Clean up your resin space and demold your resin. Add the tassel to the hole on top. Voila! All done!
