Ever had the tip of your headphones break off in you ipad or laptop, and your just not the tech savvy or brave type to open it up in order to fix it. Well, here's a cool little tip I discovered after wasting countless hours opening ipads and replacing the audio ports.

Find a Small Straw & Heat It Up

* I use the tough straws off of an aerosol air can *

Use a lighter or soldering iron to heat up the tip just enough so that it is malleable, you don't want it to ball up, drip, or droop.

Insert Into Jack

As quickly as you can, shove the tip of the straw into the headphone port tightly so that it can form around the broken tip of the headphone jack. Hold in place for a few seconds so that it can harden.

Pull Out

Pull the broken piece out.

That's it. You just saved yourself money and time not having to open your device or replace that part.

Now plug some more headphones in and rock on. =^_^=
