Replace Intel Cpu Cooler

Replace your stock Intel cooler.

I will start by saying this is my first instructable, so forgive any mistakes.
English is not my mother tongue, so also I am sorry for any grammar mistakes.

So you want to change your stock cooler, with something bigger, for overclocking purposes or just for fun. Here are the steps.
Open the side of your case (usually 2 screws holding it). You will see something like this.

If your cooler you want to install comes with pins like the Intel ones, you just need to "turn left wise" the 4 brackets that hold your cooler just like in the photo showed (red marks). Turn left all 4, then pull them up and release the cooler.
Now if your new cooler has a back, that needs to mount on the motherboard, then you need to remove motherboard from the case.
Usually it's 6 screws holding it ( blue marks). You need to unmount cables also ( green marks), you can write them down if that makes it easier to help you.

Turn upside down your mojo, mount the base that comes with your cooler ( I use Raijintek Aidos). Use the four backplate screws to your base.
On the other side use your four black spacers and above them place your 2 Intel mounting brackets (cooler has also AMD brackets but we cover the Intel in this instructable).
Use the 4 LGA2011 screws to your mounting brackets.
Remove the old thermal paste from your cpu, using Isopropyl alcohol-recommended- or you can also use <70% acetone if you like.
Be careful don't spill it on your motherboard, use a coffe filter to rub gently your cpu. Be sure it's absolutely dry/free of moisture.
Apply new thermal paste, I used mx-4. One dot of paste is enough.
Place the cooler, and the 1 crossbar that comes with it, on top of it.
