Rice Water for Hair Growth
Rice water has been used as a remedy in Asia for centuries. To achieve long, thick healthy hair. Rice water is a protein treatment- it works by absorbing the nutrients naturally found in rice. Chances are within lockdown you've cut or dyed your hair badly and wish to grow it out.
Wash the Rice
What you need:
rice (1/3 cup)
sieve
container
Wash your rice to remove any imperfections and impurities. The water coming from the sieve will likely be cloudy. You only wish to make a small batch as making rice water involves fermenting it. Once made it should be used within 24 hours and stored in the fridge. Otherwise you risk having lots of bacteria in the water.
Water + Oil
Add your clean rice into a container and cover with fresh water. You may wish to add an essential oil of your choice to give it a nice smell. Although the essential oil won't mix with the water it still makes it smell nicer.
Leave Overnight
Put in an airtight container and leave out of direct sunlight for 12-24 hours until use. Not any longer.
