3.Remove the Cakes From Pan
After the cakes are done baking take them out from the oven. After the cakes are completely cooled, run a knife along the perimeter of the cake pan.Flip it over onto a tray and remove the parchment paper from the bottom of the cake.Turn the cake right side up.
4.level the Cakes
Use your cake leveling tool or a long bread knife to slice off "the muffin" top of both cakes. You may also cut off the carmalization from the sides of the cake.
5.Ice the Cakes
Take your vanilla frosting and coat the entire top of one of the cakes.Stack the other layer on top of the other layer, and make sure its centered.Pipe a thin layer of icing on the entire cake and use an off-set spatula to smooth it out completely.Put it in the fridge to chill for 10 minutes.Ice 1 more time smoothly and let sit in the fridge for another 10 minutes.
6.Fondant Stripes
Roll your black and white fondant to about 1/8 of an inch thick.Use a ruler to measure strips that are 3/4 of an inch thick and 2 1/2 inches high from both colors of fondant. After the cake has been completely chilled ,alternate the black and white stripes along the perimeter of the cake.
Tip-If the fondant isn't sticking to the cake apply more icing on the back.

7.Dot Fondant Design
Roll your pink, black, and white fondant to 1/8 of an inch thick.Use powdered sugar so the fondant doesn't stick to the surface.Take your small circle cookie cutter or decorating tip to cut out circles from the multiple colors fondant.Place the dots slightly overlapping one another slightly in a ring formation.Alternate colors from the pink, White, and black.
Tip-If the fondant isn't sticking to each other use a tiny bit of water to make it stick.

8.Fondant Flowers
Roll out the pink fondant to 1/8 of an inch thick.Cut out circles with the small circle cookie cutter or a decorating tip.Use about 5 of the circles to shape into a flower these will be the "petals" of the flower .With the first "petal" curl it into a cylinder, and Use a tiny bit of water to fuse the sides together. With the second petal form it around the first petal curving it out a little.Do the same for the rest until you have reached your desired flower. My cake has 16 flowers along the perimeter.
9. Add the Flowers
Finally place each of the flowers at the bottom of each black band. You may use a little bit of frosting to "glue" the flower to the cake board.
