Config Files
Now that you have ShoutCast installed you need to open the application named SHOUTcast DNAS (GUI). Click on Edit Config.
In the config you need to change the following lines:
MaxUser (how many users can be connected to your server) cannot be more than 15 or so or else it will lag.
password (this is the password that needs to be entered when configuring you winamp stuff, not to connect to the server) change it to whatever.
and thats it!

This will open up the prefrences menu. On the left, scroll down and under Plug-Ins click on DSP/Effect. Double click on Nullsoft SHOUTcast Source DSP.
When the menu opens up click the Encoder Tab.
Click Encoder 1. Select MP3 Encoder. Under that select any bitrate (128kbps is MAXIMUM reccomended...great quality).
Now click on the Output tab. Select Output 1. The only thing you have to change is the password (should be what you specified in the Config of the server in the last step) Leave everything else alone.
Now in the same window click on the Yellowpages button. Check Make this Server Public. Then enter in the information of your choice. Leave Enable Track Title Updates enables along with the two auto buttons below it.
