Runner Bean Angels

This is my first instructable, so it might not be great!

Anyway, I made these with the left over dried beans after I grew them and didn't think they would work, but they did! To make this, you'll need 2 siccamore seeds, 1 runner bean, a few thin sticks, some glitter (you can choose the colour),PVA glue and a hot glue gun (although you can use PVA).

First you need a bean or pea. I used a runner bean bean. Be warned: they start out purple, but over time they become brown.

you need to get some googly eyes to stick on. For this I used a hot glue gun, but PVA works just as well. Put them in a position which looks ok (roughly the centre) and put a dollop of glue and then the eyes. Hot glue is better as it dries quicker.

for this you need some very thin sticks or twigs. Just push them into the side hard enough to go in but not to snap. Try and make them as symmetrical as you can.

to add the wings, you need to put a dollop of hot glue (or a large one of PVA) and after chopping off the bobble on the end, put 2 siccamore seeds into the glue. Place them as you can see in the photo, and if it is too dark to see, then you need to put them slightly overlapping between where the shoulder blades would be if it had them. As always, hot glues is better as it takes less time to dry and maintains a steady form.

Finally, this is where the PVA comes in. You run a straight line of PVA along the wing and then sprinkle some glitter over it.Leave it to dry, and when you come back, it will be complete!
