Salt Crystal Lamp
Just a small salt crystal/moss lamp as giveaway and/or for small(est) scale workshop.
Supplies
We use just a 2cm Himalaya salt crystal, conserved moss, a box (either cardboard or lasercut wood) and a rgb colorchanging LED - either as a tea light or soldering kit. Glue the moss and salt on top with either hot glue or Uhu poly max.
Small Scale Cardboard Version
The simplest version uses a cartoon box, either a commercial available box (5*5*5cm) with a lasercut inlay in between. On top of the inlay we glue the salt crystal and moss. Below we can either attach a tea light (a bit boring) or a pcb with coin cell holder and color changing LED as soldering workshop.
Slightly Bigger Wood Version
The bigger version uses Watterotts solder badges as LED, resulting in a slightly bigger setup. Here we use lasercut 4mm poplar for the box, again glue a salt crystal (sightly bigger, 4cm diameter) and moss at the top of the middle layer, and the badge below. Done and ready to enjoy!
