Scratch Tutorial (Sign In)

Hi today I am going to show you basics of scratch 3.0

First Open any web browser and type the following

scratch.mit.edu

This will open you to your scratch website.

Here you will have an option to sign in or not, if you sign in, your projects will be saved or else, it can't be saved

This is your scratch 3.0 page

At the top you will have a blue coloured ribbon which has many text written on it such as:-

  • Create-This allows you to create your project
  • Explore-This allows you to explore the scratch community and play online games or watch online video created by scratchers(Scratchers are the people who use scratch, like me)
  • About-It tells about scratch
  • Search bar- This is your search bar where you can search for online games and video. You can also search for studios there
  • Join Scratch-By this option, you can create your own scratch account.
  • Sign in-If you already have an account, then you can sign in with the account from here, You should just type your scratch username and scratch account password

If you don't have an account then no worry, I will teach you how to create one.

Click on Join scratch and then you will be thrown into another page which is labeled as Join Scratch.

There you can enter you username which you but don't enter your real name.

Also create a password for yourself and also confirm it second time too

Click Next.

DOB

Enter you DOB(Date of birth)

No problem to enter it, scratch will keep it private

Area and Email Address

Write your country where you are living and then

Write your email address because it is the last step, and also remember your email address which you have chosen, it is needed to verify your scratch account.

Now will get thrown into this page showing that you need to verify your account.

Open Gmail Sign in with your account which you have used to sign in the scratch account.

At the top Ribbon bar you can see a change before and after signing in.

Yes you are right, the Join scratch and Sign in are gone.

You may see there some extra options now:-

  • Messages(Icon is a mail icon)-Here you can see all you scratch messages
  • My stuff-(Icon is a file icon)Here you can see all your created project and studios
  • Profile icon-Here you can see your profile name and your profile picture. If you click on it, you can see some more options like profile, my stuff, account settings and sign out

Note: Actually I am going to use another account to explain as that account is my real one.

Actually I am just kidding, Scratch coding is one of the most easiest coding. It is very fun to create games.

Anyways what I wrote up, if you are having a big brain, you would have understood it. If you did not understand it then, I will say you again.
