WIFI Power strips with more then 3 outlets are hard to find so I decided to put to good use some Shelly devices and a regular power strip that I had. Now all 6 outlets have wifi control and individual power metering powered (don't know any other that does this) by Shelly.

Supplies

You need some wires and a soldering device.

A 3D printed back to cover the three Shelly 2.5 (or 2PM) used.

The 3 Shelly relays (one can control and measure two outlets).

A regular power strip (better with switches that the Shelly relays can read and have feedback)

Remove the back cover of your power strip. Identify each wire. Make a test with one device.

Prepare proper wires and solder them according to the attached scheme.

Make holes in the back cover for these wires (don't use too thick wires and make them long enough otherwise you will struggle like I did :) ).

If you use color coded wires like in the scheme it will be easier after you put the cover back and you can't see where each wire is soldered . Connect the three Shelly 2.5 (or 2PM) and you can test to see everything is ok and can be controlled via Shelly app or in the web browser.

The last step is to find or 3D print a rectangular back with holes for ventilation to cover and protect the connections to the relays.

I improvised with my back cover but for the moment is doing it's job and now we have quite a unique power strip with lots of features.
