Sherlock Black Lotus Origami.
BY Anriel Almeida.
Make at once if convenient ,if inconvenient make all the same.....
REQUIREMENTS: Square piece of paper approximately 6 and a half inches or 13 cms
Take the piece of paper , keep the colored side face down.
Fold the paper in half, make a sharp crease then fold it in half again, make a sharp crease. Then open all the folds. This will make further folding easier.
Once you have opened up all the previous folds, fold ever corner to the center make sharp creases .The pictures below show the front and back view respectively.
Keeping the folded paper in front view repeat step 2 again. The
picture below shows the front and back view respectively.
Repeat step 3 again.
If you look at the center you will notice 3 layers are formed.
FLIP THE MODEL OVER! ( The only step you flip it over)
Now repeat the same step again.
Repeat the same step again but this time do not fold the corner to
the center but almost three thirds the way to the center.
The first image of the previous step is
considered front and the second back . This part is a bit tricky. Use your left thumb (assuming your right-handed) and place it on the most recent fold and hold the model, place the left index finger on the other side of the model and slip it into the hood of the first fold on the back side.
Using your right index finger and thumb , gently fold it upwards to the top . Keep moving it to the top until a petal (hood) is formed.
Repeat this for the remaining four petals.
Repeat the previous process to make petals of the next layer at
the back
Flip the model over. Fold the last layer as shown in the picture.
