Simple Apple Dessert

Sweet and tangy from the vanilla cream passionfruit sauce mixed into a bowl of diced apples. Really easy to make,best served cold.

What You'll Need

Ingredients
1 red apple (medium sized)
1-2 passion fruit flesh
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1-2 Tbs whipped cream
1 Tbs water

Prepping the Apple

The number of apples you'll need is depending on how many people you intend to serve this dessert to, 1 med. apple for 1-2 people.
First remove stem and seed. then dice them up to smaller pieces.

Soak

put the diced apples into the medium sized bowl and sprinkle a little salt to prevent them from browning.
Add hot water till it covers the apples and use the plate to cover it.

The Sauce

Place the passion fruit in the small bowl and add sugar if its too sour.
Pour in 1/2 tsp of vanilla essence into the bowl and mix well.

Almost Done!

Add in around 1-2 Tbsp of whipped cream and fold it in. Stir until there are no lumps of cream in the sauce, then add 1Tbsp of water. Mix well

Drain Apples

carefully pour out the hot water from the medium sized bowl. The reason why I soaked them in hot water is to soften the apples a little bit. once all the water is drained, pour in the sauce and throughly coat the apples. You can then eat it like that or leave it in the freezer for an hour.
