Simple Earrings
In this Instructable I will teach you how to make earrings with beads.
It is fairly easy, and you can do many variations. No soldering involved.

Get the Materials
For the earrings I'll show you how to make in this instructable, you'll need:
Jewelry pliers (any kind works, but be sure they are small enough, and mine have wirecutters that you'll need)
beading wire (I use 28 gauge)
at least one color of seed bead
a bigger bead for the bottom
and
earring holders (for this pair we'll be using ones without backs)

Start Making Them
We will start by cutting two pieces of wire from 2-4 inches long. The longer the better. You can do this with the wire cutters inside your jewelry pliers. (Or your separate wire cutters) They may seem a bit long, but you can always cut the wire. Then, make a small closed loop on the end of the wire. Grab a large bead with your pliers, and string it on the wire. It should slide all the way down the wire, and stop at the loop. If it doesn't, your loop hole is either too small, or too loose.
Keep Threading
Once your large bead is in place, start threading seed beads. I would string about seven. After that, comes the trickier part. (See next step)
Attach the Wire
Once you have all of your beads strung on, you need to attach the earring back to the wire. To do this, you need to get out your earring backings. There are many ways to do this, but one of the easiest is to string the wire through the hole on the backing, and fold the wire over on itself. Then twist it around until it looks as secure as you want it. (And remember, if you need to, cut off extra wire.)
You're done!!
You're done!!
Variations
There are many variations of this pair of earrings, including the double earring.
In this variation, make two or more of the same earring to form a more complex look.
Once you get the hang of it, you can make up your own designs really easily.
