Supplies

- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper
- Large bowl
- Meauring bowl and spoon
- Old-fashioned rolled oats
- Nuts or seeds (almonds and/or sunflowerseeds)
- Salt
- Cinnamon
- Olive oil
- Vanilla extract
- Dried fruit (raisins or cranberries)

Preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper

In a large bowl, mix together 3 cups of old-fashioned rolled oats, 1 cup of nuts or seeds (like almonds or sunflower seeds), 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoonof cinnamon

In a small saucepan, warm 1/2 cup of honey or maple syrup with 1/3 cup of melted coconut oil or olive oil, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Pour the warm mixture over the oat mixture, stirring to coat everything evenly.

Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer
Bake for about 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown.

Let it cool completely on the baking sheet, it will get crunchier as it cools

Add dried fruits, like rainsins or cranberries, if you like, after it's cooled!
