This Instructable will guide you through making my SIMPLE ROBOT FOR BEGINNERS!!!

My last Instructable wasn't very good... but humor me, It was my first... so lets see if this one turns out better!

2. Six AA battery pack

3. Arduino UNO

4. Hot glue gun

5. Glue bars for glue gun

6. Breadboard wires (all yellow)

7. Electrical tape

8. Whatever you would call the wheel in the picture above

1st take your UNO and tape it to the top of your battery pack like in the picture above.

Now turn the UNO over and attach the wheel to your motors. Then hot glue the motors to the bottom of your battery pack.

Next attach the little to the back of the battery pack.

That wasn't to hard! Let's keep going!!

Wiring

OK. Your robot should be coming together now... but it won't work if you plug the battery pack in yet. So lets make it work!

Grab four yellow breadboard wires.

Attach one to 5v, one to GND, one to the other GND.

Now hook all the ends of the wires that aren't attached to the Arduino.

With your last wire hook both ends. Hook one end around the metal part of the wire in 5v

Finally hook the wires to your motors. (Note: if one motor is going the wrong way. change the voltage)

Enjoy!

Attach the battery pack and your robot should be driving merrily!!
