Simple Wooden Wall Sconces

Hello guys, welcome to another fun instructable. I saw this nice wooden wall sconces in this website and I decided to make my own. It was really easy and fun project to make.

So, let's get started.

Requirements

For this project we will need:

  • MDF wood. ( we used 18mm thickness)
  • Paint. (any colors you prefer)
  • Wood glue.
  • Clamps.
  • wall hanging nails.
  • Sanding papers.
  • CNC machine.

Attached with this step the design I made. You can just download it and cut it. But, you might need to adjust the joint depending on the thickness of the wood that you will be using.

Cutting and Assembly

To cut all the parts, I used 1/4 bit. I've attached the settings I used with this step.

Finishing

To make the final touch, I used sanding paper to clean all the pieces. Then I painted the lower part with yellow and the other part with white.

You can always try any other combination of colors. The last step is to put the hanging nails in the back.
