Have you ever wanted chili AND french fries combined??  Chili fries is what you're thinking of!!  This recipe is quick, simple, and it only takes a few minutes!

Ingredients

To make this dish, you will need:

A can of chili (any)
3 to 4 smallish potatoes (they don't have to be red)
A plate
A frying pan

OR instead of making your own fries, you can just make frozen ones, but...

Potatoes!

To make the fries, first skin the potatoes then cut then into smallish pieces.
Since this is probably best to eat with a fork, don't worry about size.
Throw them into a pan with some oil, and season with some salt and pepper.
Make sure to watch them and not to burn them!  Occasionally turn and tumble them.
While you cook these, let's go onto the next step.

Chili Time!

Dump your canned chili into a bowl and follow the directions on the label to warm it up.
While the chili cools, move on to the next step.

First, make sure that your potatoes are SLIGHTLY browned.  Browned is okay, black is not good, but a little browned is the best!!!
Next, take out the potatoes and put them on a plate or in a bowl.  Pour out the heated chili on top and enjoy it!
