Skateboard/longboard

part0 (2).jpeg

all the supplies i needed for this was. 4 ft by 1/8 board, trucks/wheels, grip tape and spray paint. the tools i used were a tape measure, ruler, compass, jig saw, belt sander, rounded bit and a drill bit.

Measuring and Cutting the Board

part0 (4).jpeg

i started off with 1/8 by 4 ft board so from there i got a tape measure and marked out my lines then i took a compass to make the radius for the front and the back or the board. then when i got done with that i took a jig saw and cut it out as close a i could then sanded the rest down till it got to the line i marked.

Sanding and Curving

so what i did for this step i was i took a sander to make it all smooth on the edges top and bottom of the deck then i took the other tool to make the edges rounded so it don't look like a box then i went back and just took a piece of sand paper and smoothed all the edges for it to be round

Painting

what i did for this was i grabbed some spray paint colors black, blue and pink. so what i did first was i took the black spray paint and made the base coat all black then i got the blue and pink spray paint and went over the board lightly to see how i wanted it to fade then when i got it the that point i make it darker till i reached the middle where i wanted it to fade. so when i got to the middle i just went very light with the pink and blue till i was satisfied with it and after that i took the blue and pink paint and splatter them on opposite sides
