When creating a small home the main adjective is to make use of all of the space you have. My design uses all space and is still comfortable to live in, as well it has a garage.

Supplies

To make this outstanding house you will need...

  1. A computer
  2. Inventor
  3. A MakerBot 3d Printer
  4. Filament

The scale factor is 2 and you turn the inches into feet.

The Start

Start by making a sketch and creating a base to work off of (7.89 in x 11.38 in x 9.90 in). Then cut the bottom out for the garage. Then make a hole in the top to live in.

Bed

To make the bed extruded a rectangle and then make a frame by extruding tubs and create a bed back board.

The Bathroom

To create the bathroom extrude the walls and doors to make a enclosed area. Then create a bowl for the toilet. After that you make the sink and the drain for the shower.

Stairs and Storage

To make the stairs extrude each stair out from the wall and fill in the middle. Then cut holes out of the bottom of the stairs for shoe storage. Also create a 1 inch extrusion in the garage to then cut slots into it.

Extras

Finally you can add some finishing touches like windows, shelves, water drains, and a refrigerator. To create the shelves and refrigerator draw them out in a sketch and extrude them. To make the windows cut squares out of the wall. To make the water drain for the balcony cut slits out of each side of floor.

Done
