Snowflake Garland
This instructable will teach you how to make a paper snowflake garland to display during winter!
Legend
Before you begin, this legend will help the instructions be more clear when the paper needs to be cut, folded, or an edge needs to remain attached.
Gather Supplies
Get an 8x11 sheet of paper, a pair of scissors, and some string.
Fold the Paper
Fold one of the corners over, flush to the other side as shown.
Cut the Top Off
Cut the top rectangle off to leave just the folded triangle.
Fold in Half
Fold the triangle in half down the middle two times.
Round the Corner
Round the corner opposite of the folded edge.
Cut Shapes Out
Cut shapes out of the edges. IMPORTANT: Make sure to leave at least one part of the folded edge uncut to keep the snowflake together.
Unfold
Unfold the snowflake to reveal what it looks like!
Repeat to Make More
Repeat steps 1-7 for however many snowflakes you’d like. Switch up the shapes and their placement in step 6 to make each snowflake look unique.
String the Snowflakes
Run the string through one hole on each snowflake.
Hang the Garland
Hang the string to display your snowflake garland.
