Snowman

This is a simple crochet project it only takes about 30 minutes to an hour to make.

4.0mm crochet hook

Yarn needle to tuck in ends and sew on eyes,nose, and the hat

You will need these colors for your snowman, white, red, black and orange

The brands of yarn I used was caron simply for the white soft and red heart super for the rest of the colors

Abbreviations

mg (magic circle)

sl st (slip stitch)

dc (double crochet)

tr (triple crochet)

hdc (half double crochet)

sc ( single crochet)

Round 1, Make magic circle and do 11 dc in the magic circle end with a sl st

Round 2, Ch 2, 2 dc together in each stitch around and end with sl st, you should now have 22 stitches

Round 3, Ch 2, 2 dc, 1 dc, 2 dc repeat 8 times you are now gonna do 6 tr then end with a sl st

Round 3, ch2 and turn work then do 6 dc in the top of the tr stitches

Round 4 and 5, Ch 2 turn work and do 6 dc across

Once you finish row 5 cut off yarn and tuck in ends.

Nose, Ch 5 and in the third chain from the hook put 1 dc, in the next stitch put 1 hdc and int the next stitch put 1 sc and put a sl st in the same stitch as the single crochet then cut off yarn make sure to leave a long enough strand of yarn to sew on the nose

Hat, Ch 12 and in the 3rd chain from the hook put 1 dc in each stitch across (11sts), sl st across two stitches then ch 2 do 6 dc across there should be two stitches left, ch 2 and do 1 dc across (6sts) then cut off the yarn and sew on the hat and tuck in ends.

Eyes, for the eyes I just cut off some of the black yarn and I sewed on the eyes you don't have to you can use felt or safety eyes I just prefer sewing on the eyes.

scarf, CH 40 then tie the scarf on the snow man.
