Everyone knows and loves the king of lunch, the PB&J. But have you ever wanted to switch or spice things up? Well, you are in the right place! Today I am going to give you an easy step by step process on how to make a spicy PB&J! In the end this is a great way to spice up an old PB&J.

The only spice in this recipe is chili powder. Chili powder is 30,000 to 50,000 Scoville heat units so if you DO NOT like spicy food base your decision on trying this off of the heat units.

Supplies

1. Raspberry Jam

2. Peanut butter

3. Butter

4. Bread

5. Salt

6. Chili Powder

7. (2) Frying Pans

8. Brush (Or something to spread melted butter)

9. Knife

Getting Bread Ready

First, you want to melt your butter on top of your stove in a frying pan. Once that is done, grab a brush or something to use to spread the melted butter on your bread. Then put the 2 slices of bread on a frying pan and fry them until they are nice and crispy.

Spreading Ingredients

Now, put your bread on a plate and it's time to put on the main ingredients! Take a knife and spread your jam evenly out onto 1 slice of bread and peanut butter on the other slice.

Add Finishing Touches

For a little extra flavor sprinkle a little salt on both slices of bread. And for the moment YOU, have been waiting for... the chili powder! Depending on your taste, add the amount you desire. Add a little more than you would think is fine because the jelly and peanut butter limit the spiciness quite a bit.

Cut and Eat!
