(EspaƱol)

Un proyecto perfecto para el fin de semana, una mesa de madera alta con soporte de pipas galvanizadas para interiores o exterior.

Supplies

Materials:
  1. 4 Pieces of pine wood: 50"in long x 1"in high x 9in wide each piece
  2. 12 pieces of 3/4" Pipe fitting (base)
  3. 4 pieces of 3/4" pipe tubes of 18" long
  4. 4 pieces of 3/4" pipe elbows
  5. 8 pieces of 3/4" pipe tees
  6. 8 pieces of 3/4" pipe nipple 10" long
  7. 4 pieces of 3/4" pipe nipple 12" long
  8. 1 1/2lt Wood Stain can
  9. 1 1" brush
  10. 1 bag of wood joints
  11. 1 bag of 1" wood screws
  12. 1 bottle of 250ml wood glue (yellow glue)

Tools:

  1. We bought for this project a JointMate at Amazon (really helpful to make perfect symmetrical holes for wood joint)
  2. Drill
  3. 1/4 Drill bit
  4. 1 philip drill tip
  5. Hammer
  6. Measure tape
  7. Pencil
  8. Woodworking F clamps (helpful)
  9. Sander m
  10. Hand saw machine (optional just in case your wood board is not cutted)

Use the Joint-Mate

Use the joint mate to drill 10mm holes in each pine wood edge. We made 18 holes between 8cm space.

Then, Add glue to each wood joint and put them in each hole, remember side A has wood joints and side B has only holes.

We joined 3 wood boards so que could have a table size of 62cm (2 feet aprox) times 1.25 (50" in)

Sand and Varnish

Our wood wasn't flat enough so we had to sand a lot from both sides.

I bought a Walnut Varnish so I did 4 layers on the top part and 3 layers in the bottom part.

Pipe Structure and Assembly

So we had a lot of troubles thinking the best pipe arrangement so we finally came with this design so we could add shelves under the table.

Once each side of pipe structure is fully assembled then add it to your table.

Screw the 4 pipe fittings symmetrically and you're almost done!

Enjoy!
