Picture a scene. You and a roommate live together in very close quarters, and you start to notice your money going missing. What can you do? You could confront him, but he's a heavy-weight boxer - he could fold you in half more than seven times. Besides, you have a better idea, you can hide your money in a pen! He can't get to them because his boxing gloves prevent him from writing, and even if he could, he wouldn't suspect a random pen, would he?

If that is your situation, then boy do I have the instructable for you;

Lay your desk protector on your desk
Using the pliers and knife, prise off the top and bottom of the pen.
Place all pieces in the bowl so you don't lose them.

Cut three thin strips of tape.
Tape the money to the toothpick so that you have something resembling a flag.
Loosely wrap the money around the toothpick, then spin the toothpick, tightening the money around it.

Place the nib back into its slot.
Put the money straw where the ink cartridge would be had you not cannibalised the pen.
Place the stopper back in the end.

Relish in the fact that Tyson the tank can no longer steal your cash. Enjoy!
