Hello Everybody,

Ingredients

For base

1) All purpose flour - 1 cup

2) Warm Milk - 1/4 cup

3) Active yeast - 1/2 tsp

4) Sugar - 1/2 tsp

5) Salt - a pinch

For Pizza spread

1) Fresh and juicy tomato - 250 gm

2) Salt - to taste

3) Oregano - 1 tsp

4) Crushed pepper powder - 1 tsp

5) Fresh basil (if available)

6) Peeled garlic - 2 pcs

For Toppings/ Stickings in this case

Toppings can be always your choice, i decided in making veg pizza, so my toppings are Black and green olives, yellow capsicum, tomato, Jalapeno

Soak

IMG_20210709_182346.jpg

If you are using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 mins before, to prevent burning of stick. Also i used 15 cm size stick, as fit few stick in the plate to keep in my oven

If you are using metal skewer you can skip this step.

Base Prep 1

Add the milk and sugar first, then add yeast. Let it sit for 5 mins, fermentation happens.. then add cup of flour, i prefer sifting flour and then mixing it.

Knead and Rest

Milk added initially should be sufficient to create dough, you can replace milk by water also. Knead well and add drops of oil in bowl roll and kept it aside for 1 hour.

Tomato Puree

Meanwhile the dough is resting you can prepare your own pizza sauce, I'm gonna make a very simple and basic sauce. Blend the tomato using blender into puree.

10 Mins

Add your puree to the sauce pan and let it boil for five mins, add your spices i.e., oregano, crushed pepper, fresh basil (if available) or dried basil powder , finally salt and let it simmer for about 10 mins or till tomato gets fully cooked.

Your Pizza Sauce Is Ready

More like a pizza paste ... ha ha.. I feel this thickness is easy to spread

After an Hour

After your dough puffing up, dust the place with flour and spread it with your hand it will be very soft and fluffy, I divided it into three parts

Pizza Base Strip

IMG_20210709_203735.jpg

Out of three, take one and roll it. I preferred thin curst, hence rolled out this one , instead of hand tossing. roll for approximately 2mm thickness and 1 inch wide. Now spread your pizza sauce. Look at its vibrant red , Eye catching

Stickings :P

As they are not used on top, but struck in the stick ;)

Here I'm using mostly brined olives and jalapeno except for tomato and capsicum. capsicum cut into 1 inch square.. Atleast that's what i tried. Grate your cheese and keep your sticks ready and dry now.

Barbeque Style

First add your stickings and now carefully roll your pizza base holding one end of the strip at bottom. Even though its thickness is less, it trends to stretch more. so carefully roll on your sticks and put them in oil greased plate. Drizzle your grated cheese.

Tip: Add parchment paper.. Coz excess cheese gets struck on the plate.

Bake

Now bake about 14 min at 160 celsius. For microwave oven keep extra two more mins.

Tingggg... Its Done

IMG_20210709_213317.jpg

After its done, now you have thin crust stick pizza all to yourself :P since its thin crust its crispy than regular sized fluffy pizza base. Of course we are adding yeast to obtain the fluffiness, but its a combo of both here making it interesting to taste along the tanginess of olives and little spicy when touching jalapeno. So each bite you get a different flavour. IIts based on the sticking you add..

Thank You
