Store Cables

Cheap, practical and fast way to tie and store your temporarily used cables.

What You Need

For this you need just some pipe cleaner (chenille stem, wire) approximate 10-20 cm (4-8 inch) depending on quantity and thickness of the cable.

Folding

Take the cable and fold it in half, than repeat until you happy with size.

Knotting

Find the end of the cable, go to half of the bundle and tie up the wire
with one knot (maybe two). If you tighten well it won't slide, but if you pull too hard it will break.

Tie

Some of this technique's pros:

  1. when you use the cable and want to store again, you don't have to search for the wire - it is always on the cable
  2. if you bundle in the same way, the wire will be always on the middle of the bundle, therefore handy.
