Do you love wakeboarding but do not live near a lake or own an expensive power-boat? Well then this could be for you! This tecnique lets you enjoy wakeboarding in your own backyard!
And better yet, you probably already have everything you need in your shed or garage!

All you need for this is:
- a bike
- about 15 feet of paracord or other rope
- a stick or piece of wood of about a foot
- a rip-stick or skateboard
- a caribiner clip
- a bike helmet
- good balance

Handle

Take your stick or piece of wood and tie one end of the rope tightly in the middle. this will be the handle that the rider holds as they are pulled down the street.

Now tie the other end of the rope to the carabiner clip. To attatch it to the bike, look for the support bars on the bottom of the seat and clip on the caribiner.

Using

To use, stand on the rip stick or skate board (I prefer ripsticks because they are easier to turn. ) then have a friend/sibling/parent ride on the bike and pull you down the street. Start slowly then pick up the pace if you are comfortable with going faster.

Safety stuff:
Always wear a helmet when using this. Some knee and elbow pads would be nice too. Watch out for cracks in the road . Also, I am not responsible if you get hurt while using this method of wake boarding.
